This family-friendly place, reminiscent of a farm in the 1800s, is lovely any time. Labour Day weekend begins the fall schedule with a corn maze, wagon ride, a visit with friendly farm animals, a walk in the woods down Scarecrow Lane, imaginary play areas and its famous corn-sensory table in the kids’ barn.
Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival

Look up and you’ll see dozens of colorful hot air balloons in all shapes and sizes lighting up the sky. You can take a ride in one too. There are buskers, fireworks, an amusement park, night illuminations, a wrestling gala, a car show, activities for children, and a big lineup of musical entertainment.

The Stormont County Fair has so many activities you might want to go for the whole weekend. It includes a midway (of course) which opens at 11am, an auto show, a baby contest, a Kinder Corner, petting zoo, pony rides, cookie decorating, a craft table, a scavenger hunt, a zip line, rock wall climbing, the Pizazz Magic Show and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
