Lagois is an award winning, full design·build company that has been serving homeowners in Ottawa and the surrounding areas for 4 decades.  From starter home couples and young families to empty nesters and seniors choosing to live in place, we help our clients transform their homes into spaces for living.  

We are a small team consisting of 13 individuals, all dedicated to their individual niche in the company.  We have strong behavioral statements; commitment and teamwork, individual respect, and forwardthinking.  All rowing in the same direction; to make sure our clients Love Where They Live.

Our business goal through marketing is to Educate clients, Build Trust,and show that we are the Authority in our field of work. We would like to work in a collaborative fashion with someone to help support us in our marketing and campaigns, with website and social media support.

Work with us to provide a winning marketing strategy

o Lead the development and execution of the annual Marketing Plan with a focus on building awareness and growth campaigns
o Connect with Lagois sales team to align on yearly objectives and execution
o Establish an Events Calendar, participate in planning, and running all Lagois events.
o Develop a Social Media Plan and be responsible for execution of associated content.
o Run the Lagois e-mail marketing strategy with a finesse that both nurtures and develops customer relationships
o Work to distribute and maintain marketing budget
o Help define KPIs – what the results of each section of the marketing campaigns should be and what we are looking to achieve (procuring email addresses for newsletters, increase in leads, Lagois reach, etc.)
o Provide current, relevant and historic metrics that measure the performance of the website and social media based on the individual marketing campaigns
o Oversee all the tactics used to develop and cultivate customer relationships. Use skills and strategic knowledge to help the business enter and succeed in current and new markets

Digital Marketing

o Candidate will be responsible for all content creation for identified target customers
o Execute and optimize paid social media campaigns to increase reach and drive conversions
o Monitor budgets and ensure campaigns are cost-effective and deliver desired results
o Skills related to website development and updating website backend (WordPress) are considered an asset
o Manage centralized platform to maintain documentation/pictures/videos for social media, website, etc. (G-drive related to all Lagois assets)
o Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline
o Lead A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels, monitoring and optimizing campaigns as they run
o Work with external digital marketing professionals as required, and collaborate to develop and enhance demand strategies
o Identify advertising tactics in new market segments to encourage business growth
o Measure and analyze results to refine and improve campaign success
o Deliver performance reports to Key Stakeholders

Marketing Collateral

o Design new marketing collateral across all channels (digital, print, physical, events)
o Update previously used templates for fresh takes on all marketing material including signage, brochures, flyers, catalogues, posters, door hangers
o Graphic design skills considered an asset – Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
o Work with commercial printers for all production requirements

Communications & Quality

o Understand the Lagois process, culture, and customer experience by partnering with each department on an ongoing basis (sales/phase I/Phase II/Phase III and postconstruction)
o All meetings will take place weekly through Zoom and in person
o Abide by, understand, and represent all Lagois behavior statements (core values), mission, and vision statements (see below)
o Maintain the “voice” of the brand by ensuring conformance to style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing,and advertising activities

Budget Management

o Define all marketing budgets and manage all marketing activities within defined budgets
o Progress reports against budgets are mandatory

Qualifications

o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent
o Proven experience (3-5 years) in social media management, with a strong understanding of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
o Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies that have effectively driven engagement and growth.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
o Graphic design skills considered an asset – Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
o Skills related to website development and updating website backend (WordPress) are considered an asset
o Strong analytical skills and proficiency in social media analytics tools.
o Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
o Background includes event management and management of brand presence
o Familiarity with commercial printers is considered a benefit
o Must be in the office or on-site multiple days a week in Ottawa and the surrounding area
