We maintained the kitchen footprint with slight modifications to optimize function and storage. We relocated the microwave, upgraded the pantry, and integrated storage solutions, and this created space for a larger fridge. We removed the existing bulkhead and relocated the ductwork so the cabinets could continue to the ceiling, elongating the space. With the removal of the desk area, we were able to create a coffee station with custom floating shelves for decorative glassware to be displayed.

​We shifted the dishwasher closer to the doorway and fitted it with a paneled front to create visual continuity in the cabinetry. We added a pull-out garbage/recycle cabinet. For a bright clean look, we used simple subway tiles in the backsplash.

​Adding seating to the island and continuing the flooring into the adjacent living area creates a more inviting space for our homeowners to enjoy and host guests. The flooring is a vinyl tile for warmth and comfort.

We transformed the front foyer with new tile and custom trim to accentuate the new entry door. The wood-like finish of the door in cherry tone and traditional profile adds warmth and character to the space. 

​The neutral colour palette of the kitchen and foyer was the perfect setting for the clients to display their art and décor, bringing colour and life into the space.
