Awards season is upon us! This is the time of year we wait to hear if our projects have been selected as finalists in local and regional design competitions. We are thrilled to announce that we were are finalists in the 32nd Annual GOHBA Housing Design Awards. This year we were selected in each of the five categories that we entered, including the prestigious Renovator of the Year category!
The GOHBA Housing Design Awards recognizes excellence in new construction and renovation throughout Ottawa. Entries are judged by a panel of esteemed HBA members and professionals outside of Ottawa in the industry and may include builders, renovators, architects, and interior designers. All projects are judged on esthetics, functionality, unique design, cohesiveness, and creative use of space.
For the Special Achievement Award of Renovator of the Year entrants are judged based on their two highest scoring renovation award submissions, client testimonials, and answers to a series of questions. The objective of the questionnaire is to give the judging panel an understanding of the firm’s efforts in areas such as innovation, guiding and assisting clients, energy efficient remodeling, community support, and employee retention. We’d like to thank all of our clients who submitted positive reviews and testimonials for us this year and years past. We couldn’t win this award without you!
