For over 20 years, Lagois has been deeply committed to charitable causes and community involvement by all members of staff. We are strong supporters of Ronald McDonald House, and have been involved with fundraising for the House since 1998.

Additionally, Lagois supports numerous other children’s charities in the Ottawa area including The Snowsuit Fund, CHEO, local schools and various youth associations.

Here are some of the contributions we’ve made to the community in past years:

RMDH reached out to us in 2019, asking if we could help them create a better functioning kitchen for their families. We started by relocating the coffee station and snack prep area, to just outside of the main kitchen, in a non-functional “bar area”. The pressure was alleviated from the main kitchen, reducing congestion and allowing for better functionality. Lagois’ part of this project was pro bono, other suppliers and trades either worked pro bono or at cost. A very rewarding and fun project!

Custom-built a gazebo to support Ronald McDonald House with a donation of $1,000

Completed an addition to the back of the building for a Play Room with the help of our Trade Partners, most of which worked at cost or pro-bono.

Coordinated installation of the Butterfly Garden sign for the Compassionate Friends in association with CHEO
