Celebrating Our Trade Partners

Every year Lagois holds an annual Trade Partners Breakfast to thank our partners for their hard work and renew our mutual promise to provide outstanding service to Lagois clients.  This year the event was attended by 31 companies with a total of 47 employees.  We’d like to express our sincere appreciation to Mark & Lyle Perkins of Perkins Home Building Centre in North Gower for sponsoring the breakfast. Our appreciation also goes out to Robert Johnstone of Marketplace Media – Home and Renovation Show for sponsoring our venue.
In addition to our breakfast and awards ceremony we had several guest speakers.
Myrna Beattie of Habitat for Humanity presented an overview of the wonderful work done by that organization and of the 2 ReStores located in Ottawa and the benefits to trades. She also encouraged everyone to participate in the 2nd annual ReStore the Ride motorcycle poker run coming up on May 28 and sponsored by Lagois.
Pierre Charpentier of Hilti (Canada) Limited presented the new Hilti tools and features for 2017.
Chris Parish, Construction Manager of Lagois discussed the commitments that Lagois makes to their clients and Trade Partners and what Lagois needs as commitments from Trade Partners. He also spoke about the new Noise Policy that the Ministry of Labour requires every company to have and tips on how to achieve hearing protection for workers. Lagois also has a new referral program that was introduced.
We had many great door prizes too!
